We are affiliated with the United States Specialty Sports Association (USSSA). The league was formed in 2005 for the purpose of giving children in the surrounding communities of Southwestern Illinois the opportunity to play the game of baseball at a highly competitive and enjoyable level! The league was formed in 2005 with only one division and approximately 10 teams. Each year, the league has continually expanded to where we had our highest participation rate ever. This past season we managed 5 divisions and approximately 44 teams. For 2010, SWIBL will be even larger as it has merged with another league and will operating under the SWIBL banner.
